Wanxiang

In 2014, Wanxiang Group and John Hopkins Hospital of the United States initially planned to establish a new Class 3 international hospital in Shanghai. Since Wanxiang Group’s main business is not in healthcare, they invited Dorenfesti to conduct a feasibility study on business strategy and investment in this cooperation intention, and assist Wanxiang Group to further understand the market opportunities and risks of domestic private hospitals to form a sound industry understanding so as to assess the feasibility of working with Hopkins.

Heren Health-2015

Heren Health is one of China‘s leading smart health providers that offers services and solutions of medical information, regional health information etc. In 2012, Dorenfest was invited to perform a high level strategic review of Heren Health’s strategic vision, its current status, and near term plans to accomplish this strategic vision. Also, Dorenfest assisted Heren to learn from foreign experience and provided suggestions on how Heren can become the leader in China ‘s HIT industry. In May 2015, Dorenfest arranged US HIT vendors to visit China, and coordinated the cooperation discussion between Heren and foreign vendors.  

HDC

DHC is one of the leading software companies in the China HIT market, which serves 20% of the top 100 Chinese hospitals. DHC HIT leadership has been forward-thinking in determining how to improve its product and grow its business more rapidly. In late 2015, Dorenfest was invited to conduct a research project on Epic, the #1 EMR vendor in the United States. Dorenfest answered DHC’s questions about Epic, and provided some advice about what can be learned from Epic’s experience in the U.S. that can be transferred to China to make DHC even better than it is today.

The consulting project laid the foundation and the roadmap of development for the RHIN and digital hospital effort driven by the health bureau.

BOE

As BOE entered the healthcare market, they have great goals to build a national wide healthcare provider network. Hence Dorenfest was invited to investigate how its IT strategy could support the corporate national goals and how the first flagship hospital can be built to provide a living model for the rest of the corporate facilities.

Kingstar Donglian

Donglian was an independent company and they were in need to understand the market better and bring their product to meet the demands of the next generation hospital. As such, Dorenfest was invited to help them with this task and analyze the gap they current have and offer improvement recommendations. Donglian was subsequently acquired by Kingstar as a sub-division
